Due to its actions, management company Riviere Towans Chalet Camp Management Company Ltd (RTCCMC) that runs the Riviere Towans Chalet Camp in Hayle is facing further legal actions from company members. It has been reported that in recent months there have been various breaches of covenants and Company law which remain unresolved.
It is reported that a member request to open the secondary gates during the Christmas period when the site was open was flatly refused sparking safety fears and claims of breach of covenant.
In a panicked attempt to gain member support the RTCCMC emailed all members with an altered version of truth trying to scare members to back their decision by sparking security fears. Furthermore they then emailed all members a set of alleged “verbatim” responses from members supposedly backing its decision despite them not knowing the true facts.
One member commented that it looked like the responses had all been written by the directors whilst sharing a crate of beer.
